IGNOU June 2025 Term Exam: Official Update, Important Notification, and Deadlines

Hello student, in this Article we are going to talk about an official update regarding IGNOU’s June 2025 term exam, which is definitely like a bad news for all of you students. And for those students whose assignment exam form is pending, it is definitely a bad news.

Official Notification Released

Let’s talk about all the points one by one. First of all, you have the public notification which has been released by IGNOU today i.e. on 20th April 2025. This was basically just a reference to your previous notification.

Regarding the extension of the last date of all your exam forms

In the previous notification:

Possibility of Further Extension?

Talking about the possibilities, many students believed or were thinking that the last date of the exam form would be extended further. I had clearly told that you will not get a chance for the exam form more than this. If you get it, then you will get it with late fee, which IGNOU had mentioned here that:

If you fill IGNOU Exam Form after 28th April, then you will have to pay ₹1100 late fee That Is Very Huge

Same thing which IGNOU has released a notification today. Many students were expecting that a notification will come in which the last date will be extended further. But nothing like this has happened.

Final Date With Late Fee

Now you have five days time in which you can fill the form. But here you will have to pay the late fee of ₹1100 on the last date.

If you are thinking that even after this the form will be extended further,
Then there is absolutely no chance that your form will be extended further after 4th May

After that, I will get another possibility about which I will tell separately because that is a different process.

Assignment Submission Deadline

Now comes the matter of assignment. If we talk about its last date, then the last date is 30th April.

This date applies to:

June 2025 term exams
ODL and online program
GL, E, EV, Double B

Activities Under Assignment Submission:

Sivet submission
Project report
Field work
General practical
Discussion intensive report

Will Assignment Date Be Extended?

Will it be extended further or not?

Possibilities are that yours can be extended further
50% chance that it can be extended till 15th May

But its very few possibilities are being seen now. Because IGNOU has already not extended the last date of the exam form here any further. But assignments are a little different.

Suggestion:

I would say that you may get time till 15th May as your last chance.

By the way, if you have completed your assignments, then you guys should submit them right now, that is, submit them before 30th April.

Assignment Submission Methods

Whatever guidelines your RC has issued, whether it is online or offline, submit your assignments through whatever process it is.

If we talk about RC3, they have issued a Google Form
All the students can submit their assignments online
You must have made assignments
Submit the guidelines in them through PDF

Solution for Pending Assignments

There can be an advantage in this for those students whose assignments have not been done yet.
