Union Bank has released notification for 500 posts of Specialist Officer which includes Assistant Manager Credit and Assistant Manager IT. There are 250-250 vacancies. You can see category wise. You can apply for this from 30th April. Last date to apply is 20th May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Manager Credit

• Your minimum age should be 22 years, and maximum age should be 30 years.
• You should be a graduate. You can apply from any university in any discipline.
• You should be CA, CMA, ICWS, CS.
• Or you can apply for full-time MBA, MMS, PGDBM, PGD, BAM with specialization in finance with minimum 60% marks.
  • SC, ST, OBC, PWD candidates will need 55% marks.
• The above-mentioned course must be full-time two years.
• You must complete this two-year course, only then you can apply.

Assistant Manager IT

• Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
• You can apply if you have full-time:
  • BE, B Tech, MCA, MSCIT, MS, MTech, five year integrated MTech
  • In: Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Electronics, Electronics and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Data Science, Machine Learning and AI, Cyber Security
• You need a minimum of one year experience in any of these fields in the IT domain, then you can apply.
• There is no need for any experience for the rest of the credits.
• If you have a PG degree, MMS or MBA, PG Diploma with more than two specializations, then you are not eligible.

Relaxations and Bond Details

• SC, ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• Probation: 2 years
• Bond: ₹2.5 Lakhs for 3 years

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on:

• Online Exam
• Or Group Discussion (GD)
• Or Screening
• Or Personal Interview

It will depend on the number of applications.

Online Exam Pattern

Part 1: Aptitude Section

• Maths, Reasoning, English
• 25 Questions each
• 25 Marks each
• Total Time: 75 Minutes

Part 2: Professional Knowledge

• 75 Questions
• 150 Marks
• Time: 75 Minutes

Total:

• 150 Questions, 225 Marks, 150 Minutes
• Paper will be in both Hindi and English
• There is 0.25 negative marking

Group Discussion & Interview

• Group Discussion: 50 Marks
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • 25 for General/EWS
    • 22.5 for Reserved Categories (SC, ST, OBC)
• Personal Interview: 50 Marks
  • Criteria same as GD

Final Selection Criteria

• Candidates selected  from General, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, PWD in written exam  will be called in 1:3 ratio. for the personal interview
• Final selection will be based on:
  • Online Examination + Personal Interview
  • Or if exam not conducted:
    • Direct Personal Interview
    • Or GD + Personal Interview
